Abundantly Joyful Christmas in July

Christmas Week 2.jpg

This Week We’re Asking:

How does grace impact generosity?

What areas of your life are overflowing? Is there a way to use that unique gift to bless others?

How is God calling you to be generous to those around you this week?

This Week We’re Reading:

Last week Pastor Alan shared this passage: 2 Corinthians 8: 1-9. This chapter is the best math equation for generosity as we are shown a good example of how the church was equipped to give because of the best example (in verse 9), Jesus!

Throughout our Christmas in July series, we encourage you to read and meditate on 2 Corinthians 9: 10-11. These verses share the heart of how we are called to engage with our community.

This Week for Christmas in July We’re Doing:

July 12: Give someone a smile

July 13: Do something nice for your neighbor

July 14: Call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while

July 15: Complete a random act of kindness for another person

July 16: Collect loose change and donate it

July 17: Clean up a mess you didn’t make

July 18: Hold the door for someone

This Week We’re Memorizing:

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.
- Psalm 24:1

As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For you generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you. Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!
- 2 Corinthians 9:13-15
