Psalm 139

This Week We’re Asking:

This week, we learned that God is always with us… No matter where we are.

  1. Why do you think Jonah wanted to try to get away from God?

  2. Why do you think God wants Jonah to go to Ninevah?

  3. Have you ever felt like God was leading you to do something?

This Week We’re Thinking About:

Jonah was a prophet, but because of his circumstances, even he believed a lie that he told himself! So often we lie to ourselves, but it is incredibly important that we focus on God and His character instead.

This Week We’re Doing:

This week’s faith-in-action challenge is to make motions for Psalm 139:7-8 to help us memorize the passage. We know that when we associate motions with words, it helps us remember! Who will be the first one in your family to get it down?!

Psalm 139:7-8

I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there.
