This Week We’re Asking:

Jonah finally goes to Nenevah after struggling with his own emotions. During this journey we find that God loves everyone.

  1. Why do you think God loved Nenevah enough to offer forgiveness to them?

  2. Why do you think it is hard to love others who you don’t agree with?

  3. What is one thing you can do to show love to someone this week?

This Week We’re Thinking About:

Join us for a look at Jonah chapter 4 which asks us the question, "Do you love plants more than people?" For us, we choose people over plants every time!

This Week We’re Doing:

This week’s faith-in-action challenge is very old school. This week, grab a peice of paper and write an encouraging letter and mail it to someone you haven’t talked to in a while. This could be a relative or a friend.

God shows Jonah that He not only cares about the city, but He also cares about the individual person. Sending an encouraging letter is a great way to show God’s love to someone this week!

Psalm 139:7-8

I can never escape from your Spirit!
I can never get away from your presence!
If I go up to heaven, you are there;
if I go down to the grave, you are there.
