Holy Week Day 4
We’re walking with Jesus through His last week.
Today We’re Reading:
This week we are focusing on the last week of Jesus’ life. Every day we will read a portion of scripture from that last week.
During that last week, when Jesus sat down to the Last Supper with His disciples, it is likely that Jesus and the disciples recited the Hallel Psalms, or Psalms 113 thru 118. So, we are also including one of the Hallel Psalms with the reading for each day to help us share in Jesus’ experience that final week.

Today We’re Asking:
Things don’t last forever… but God does! We just read some pretty crazy things, but since our trust is in Jesus, we have no reason to fear!
If you had all the Legos you could ever dream of, what would you build?
What is one thing that you are afraid of?
When you are feeling scared how do you put your trust in Jesus?
What did Jesus do to show us that we can have hope in Him?
Today We’re Doing:
Have you heard the song Tremble by Mosaic MSC? When you focus on the lyrics it talks about the power that is found in the name of Jesus and in who Jesus is. When we are walking through different things, we know we can turn to Jesus. In the midst of what sometimes may feel like chaos, He can bring peace and comfort. Our hope and trust can be found in who He is. One of the ways we can do that is through prayer. Prayer is one of the most important parts of our faith.
Today, spend some time in prayer and talking to Jesus. Grab a piece of paper and a pen and find a quiet spot in your house. You can play the song Tremble by clicking here: Tremble by Mosaic MSC. As you listen to the song, write out a letter to God on your piece of paper.
This Week We’re Memorizing:
For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him.
Looking Ahead:
Tomorrow, as we read about the Last Supper, we are going to walk you through what a foot washing ceremony can look like with your family.
