Today We’re Reading:

This week we are focusing on the last week of Jesus’ life. Every day we will read a portion of scripture from that last week.

Mark 11:27-12:44

During that last week, when Jesus sat down to the Last Supper with His disciples, it is likely that Jesus and the disciples recited the Hallel Psalms, or Psalms 113 thru 118. So, we are also including one of the Hallel Psalms with the reading for each day to help us share in Jesus’ experience that final week.

Psalm 115

Today We’re Asking:

Today we read about the Pharisees asking Jesus lots of questions to try to trick Him into saying something wrong. Jesus responded by showing us that the most important question we can ask is if we love God and love others!

  1. If you could make one silly law, what would it be?

  2. What do you think the greatest commandment is?

  3. How do you think Jesus lived out the greatest commandment?

  4. How do you think you can live out the greatest commandment that Jesus gave us?

Today We’re Doing:

Did you know that it is ok to ask questions about faith? About God? About the Bible? One of the important things to do when we have questions is to ask them and then also take the time to dig into our Bibles to discover what God says.

Is there a question you would like to ask Jesus?

If there is a question you want to ask Jesus, click the button below to share your question with us:

This Week We’re Memorizing:

Romans 6:7-8

For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him.

Looking Ahead:

Tomorrow, we’re going to spend some time thinking about how we can turn to Jesus no matter what and writing a letter to God.
