Magnificent Christmas in July

christmas week 4.jpg

This Week We’re Reading:

Read David’s plea to magnify Jesus Christ in Psalm 34:1-6.

Throughout our Christmas in July series, we encourage you to read and meditate on 2 Corinthians 9: 10-11. These verses share the heart of how we are called to engage with our community.

This Week We’re Asking:

Are there any problems that you have been looking at through a microscope?

What does it mean in your life to look at God through a telescope?

Is there a way you can help others see Jesus magnified in their lives? How can your generosity magnify the Lord?

This Week for Christmas in July We’re Doing:

July 26: Give someone a high five

July 27: Send an encouraging text to a family member

July 28: Make someone laugh

July 29: Donate food to a food pantry

July 30: Offer to run errands for a friend

July 31: Invite someone to lunch and spend time with them

This Week We’re Memorizing:

The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. The world and all its people belong to him.
- Psalm 24:1

As a result of your ministry, they will give glory to God. For you generosity to them and to all believers will prove that you are obedient to the Good News of Christ. And they will pray for you with deep affection because of the overflowing grace God has given to you. Thank God for this gift too wonderful for words!
- 2 Corinthians 9:13-15
