Paul shares in Romans 4 that Abraham continued to trust that God would fulfill His promises. Abraham was able to hold onto a living hope in God and he watched how God changed his situation.
Has anyone ever promised you something but didn’t fulfill their promise?
What do you think it means to have hope in God?
Share one thing in your life that you are trusting God for.
This Week We’re Doing:
This week’s faith-in-action challenge is a great way for us to remember why we can trust in God. Find about 20 minutes at some point this week to sit down as a family and make a list of reasons of why we know we can trust in God. This could be from Scripture or from a time that God fulfilled a promise in your life. This will be a great time to share with your kids why you can trust in God throughout every area of life.
